Model Railroading > Received via the Interchange Track Rapido Hoppers-Very NiceDate: 11/03/25 19:24 Received via the Interchange Track Rapido Hoppers-Very Nice Author: wabash2800 These HO, Enterprise covered hoppers are very finely detailed and beauties. Who would think that people would love freight cars. <G> The Canada Southern car is a nice touch. I received them promptly from White Rose Hobbies off eBay at less than retail and reasonable shipping.

I don't know, but these cars did carry minerals and chemicals other than cement. From what I understand, cement was usually short haul and stayed online. I may use them for a glass plant on my railroad. I also have a Bowser, PRR H30 covered hopper that is a real beauty. I need to get some Wabash covered hoppers. I model the 1950s. Edit: I believe these cars Rapido offers with round hatches were used for food service ingredients. (Those pictured here are the sqaure-hatch version.) Victor Baird Edited 4 time(s).
