Model Railroading > The ACF Paper Boxcar fleet

I got my fleet of Moloco ACF Hi-Cube boxcars put into service for my paper mill. 8 BN cars of various types and 3 UP/MP waffles. Now I need to get them into the JMRI operations software.

Impressive photo for sure - I count 11 recent production Moloco - $66.99 a pop.  Future run prices up to $74.99

I have spent quite a bit on Moloco myself over the past 8 or so years and have more than I can run so I've been selling some of them to thin the fleet.

Ya the prices have gotten crazy. I'm worried what the St. Cloud cars are going to cost by the time they arrive. They were 50 something when I ordered them back in 2021. When you look at the new price, and thats no indication of the price when they finally do arrive, that's quite an increase considering I ordered 8 cars.

But, those sure look good on your layout Ted. Thats a nice industry.
