Model Railroading > Looking for a PA1

I am looking for PA 1 in Ho, Santa Fe, full DCC with sound.  My dealer cannot find one. I have looked on E-Bay but I don't trust E-bay.  Any suggestions.

Might I ask WHY you don't trust eBay? I KNOW the prices are inflated BUT when stuff is hard to find and you don't pre-order....well....?

Rapido is taking preorders for another run of PA1's.

Rapido's PAs doing everything except produce lots of black Alco smoke . They are not cheap , but you get what you pay for in many different flavors .

We delivered the last run of PAs a few months ago. We're not currently taking preorders but some may still be in stock.

I am 100% sure we have a few in stock of 51LAC singles and A-B sets.

I just did.

All are still available as DC models. 51L is showing as in stock with sound. This is on the American site.

Ah, I see. The OP was specifically asking for sound. 

Just the 51L is available with sound from us, but I am sure that some stores have the A-C set in stock.

For first run PAs, you'll probably need to check eBay or something similar.

eBay is absolutely biased in favor of the BUYER!  For virtually ANY reason, if the buyer is unhappy with a purchase, they can return it and receive a full refund.  If the seller has 100% positive feedback and a great number of sales--like in at least the hundreds--you can pretty much count on receiving a refund on any shipping you paid AND a PREPAID return shipping label.  There is absolutely NO reason not to trust eBay.
