Model Railroading > SP layout progressDate: 11/23/25 22:38 SP layout progress Author: sphauler Just wanted to share some current photos of my proto freelance Southern California Southern Pacific circa 1950's layout. This layout has seen several changes over the years. In the newest section I used code 83 Atlas flex track and Walther's Proto turnouts. On the branch lines and sidings I used Walther's code 70 track. The layout is DCC and every locomotive is sound equipped.

I had a layout I was building in modular form, to be moved becoming permanent, with a track to no where. The switch was no moveable for good reason. It was the Oblivion Branch on the panel. The track in the foreground reminds me of that. What is the roadbed under the track?
