Kingston (NY) O-Scale Model RR Club
Author: pbrasky

The Kingston Model RR Club (Hudson Valley Lines) has bben in existence at the same location, a former New York Central manintenance shed, since 1937.  Some of its operating equipment dates from the 1940's and was in operation today.  Weekends in November and next weekend is when they hold their open house.  It is quite scenic, with hand-painted murals, hand built bridges, and mostly handlaid track and turnouts.  Here are a few photos of the layout taken an hour ago.  I hope you enjoy them!   Btw, the overhead wires for the trolleys in the first photo were hand strung (and electrified) and the track work all handlaid as well.
