My new Ringling Bros blue unit cars

RBBX 41402 modeled using a Walthers Budd corrugated sleeper. Sealing the windows one by one was a bit tedious, but the results were good.

RBBX 42103 modeled using a Walthers Pullman Standard sleeper. A different look than the ACF and Budd cars I normally model.

Very nice work.  What's your method and materials for patching window areas?

I square the rounded corners of each window. I then cut a piece of styrene to make a very tight fit. I apply Tamiya extra thin cement around the edges to slightly soften them. I push the styrene patch into place and the patch being snug, pushes the soft styrene edge making a slight fillet. I apply more cement, let it dry completely and gently sand it smooth. This eliminates having to apply putty. I use Tamiya PlaPlate for the patches. It's seems to be slightly better styrene  than Evergreen.

More exceptional work product and thanks for sharing.   How many blue cars now have you completed and how many are left?   I think you are getting relatively close to completion of the blue train at this point.

I have completed 8 cars for my blue unit train. Only roughly 35 cars to go, along with the associated wagons and support vehicles.

I can only run on a layout with wide radius curves, which is a hard find.
At about 40 feet in length, the train needs a lot of room.
