Model Railroading > Conrail 21104 Caboose partsDate: 04/24/26 15:28 Conrail 21104 Caboose parts Author: jayb61 Looking at the roof of said caboose there are 3
holes opposite the smokejack. Is this for a 3 leg antenna and where might I find such item? Tyia Date: 04/25/26 02:11 Re: Conrail 21104 Caboose parts Author: boejoe If you are describing an Athearn bay window body, the three holes were intended for an SP style radio antenna. I used to have a few in my spare parts box when I used the body for another railroad's paint and lettering. For years, the Athearn Blue Box bay window was the only game in town (other than brass) if you wanted a b/w style.
Perhaps another modeler has a spare to solve your problem. Date: 04/25/26 15:59 Re: Conrail 21104 Caboose parts Author: PHall Detail Associates used to make this part. Etched brass for the legs and disc.

Its a Espee design caboose, the mounting holes\ nubs opposite of the smoke jack is for the tripod red light that Espee used. Conrail didnt have this light. Fill the holes and shave the nubs off.
