Side Shot Saturday of D&RGW 01506

"Fresh" off the shop track.
I've always had a thing about weathering brass cabooses... Plastic? No problem. But I just didn't weather brass cabooses...
Well... I've decided those are fair game now... :)

Very nice.  I have a couple of the similar EV brass cabooses by Overland models I"m hoping to get back this year in the solid orange scheme.  Genesi should be shipping the Grande Gold over silver in a few months, as well as the 1975 built EV cabooses.

Cheers,
Jim

The hard lighting choice on this one takes the cake. Awesome model. Any plan or consideration for adding an air hose on each end?

Is it me, or does this caboose sit high on the trucks?  Body seems to be a scale foot or so higher than it should be.

Looking at the generator on the left truck it looks like it's right to me. The generator is just clearing the body.

Might be a smidge high... It's a 24 year old Overland Models product and they were not as accurate as today's offerings....

Well if you did lower it then you would have to adjust the coupler height too. It's a never ending cycle.
