First Tuesday At Carquinez Model Railroad Society In Crockett, Ca
Author: FiveChime

Every Tuesday, the scenery crew meets at CMRS layout in Crockett to work on layout scenery.
On the first Tuesday of each month others such Boiling Man and I come and run with the group.
Yesterday I was able to run the SP cabless Baldwin that BM just constructed for me, and he was
running recently detailed WP FTs.
Steam powered Overland Mail was also running that I'll cover in next posting.
Regards, Jim Evans

For years I've built models with no intention of ever actually running any of them- they always wen straight to the display shelf.  Then a couple years ago I got tangled up with Jim (5chime) and he shamed me into dusting things off, adding DCC, sound, lighting, etc, and getting them out on the RR!
Soooooo.....
I joined a club in Roseville (Roseville Roundhouse) to test my creations on, and the club in Crockett where I could take them out on The Road.  One by one I've been bringing them to life and adding more to my roster.

Photo 1.  The WP FT's are a work in progress.  The leading pair still need their side hand rails and wagonwheel antenna.  The trailing pair are still as they came out of the box.  These are older Stewart's.
Photo 2.  An AC-9 in Davis?  Sure, why not..       This thing is fine out on the main, but trips all over itself in the yard!   One I get it properly speed matched to my AC-8 I'll attempt to run it as a rear helper, Modoc Style!
