Model Railroading > Different flavor Accurail 2 bay ACF covered hopperDate: 06/17/26 17:46 Different flavor Accurail 2 bay ACF covered hopper Author: SALGUY I recently purchased this car from the
Naptown and White River Model Railroad Club. https://share.google/dbpgyvQqd9Qcn9ueH Accurail did the custom decorating for them as well. As is usually the case, they did a very nice job with this car. This car is available in two numbers. If you are interested in this car, please head to their website and support them by purchasing one or two of these cars. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/17/26 17:49 by SALGUY. and coupler cut levers to this car. I also trimmed of the coupler trip pins. Photo two. The new car hanging out at Hoffa Cements Savannah, GA facility. Notice the Accurail 250th car that's hanging out there as well. Photo three. Another view of the cars hanging out at the Savannah Hoffa Cement plant. The car has a build year of 1966. I model 1974-1978. Given that, I think the weathering is appropriate. I used Tamiya panel liner in orange-brown and dark gray. The rest was done with a mixture of two acrylic shade of gray. Dolphin gray and granite gray. |
