Wanting to post some older model train photos, I decided to see what trains I was running 15 years ago. I was a member of the Olympic Model Railroad Society in March of 2011 when I took these photos. The Olympic Model Railroad Society (OMRS) layout is at the Thurston County Fairgrounds in Lacey, WA. Make sure to visit the club when you get a chance.

1. MRL/BN loaded Grain Train passing the Ferry landing at Marvin's Bluff on the Puget Sound. The train is making it's way to the export elevator where it will be unloaded.

2. SP powered local returning to Half Moon Yard where the cars will be sorted for through trains to pick in either direction. Power was a SW1500 and a MP15AC. It was difficult to take photo on the lower level at the time because it was shadowed by the upper level, and the christmas lights with the clear bulbs generated a lot of heat but not much light. I later invested in linkable under cabinet lights which greatly improved the lower level's appearance.

Ya I like photo 1 also. F45 on the Montan Rail Link has always been a favorite.
