Model Railroading > N scale layout, Parks Canada information office Field BC

I thought people would enjoy this short video of the N Scale layout of the spiral tunnels outside of Field BC. Normally they only run a short train of one engine and three or four cars, but I asked for permission if I could run my passenger train the Dominion, on their layout and they were kind enough and said yes video was taken in May of this year. The information office is open from the start of May to the end of September. For those who care the engines are Intermountain, the cars are a mix of Rapido and Micro-Trains and the very last car is a  old Con-Cor that was customized for me. The layout is analog, although my engines are DCC operating on analogue. If you are aren't busy and in Yoho national Park or Banff national Park I would definitely suggest stopping and checking out this layout as well as the CPKC yards just across the river.

Thanks for shaing. That is a very nice looking train too. Are all the switches dummy switches like the one in the beginning of video for reliability and low maintenance. Smart idea.

Yes they are all dummy switches which makes sense. Don't want to have a train pick a switch when nobody's watching.
