Model Railroading > My latest Acquisition

No sooner did I acquire a Rapido GE 44 tonner for my Eel River Traction Comany post "overhead wire era", I acquired this Suydam loco. It is a class D that ran on the Pacific Electric. But it will be painted up silver, black and yellow for my Eel River Traction Company. I had planned to backdate the railroad eventually, but perhaps it can sit in the weeds until that happens?

Thanks. I plan on making some changes for my road: blank out middle windows, only one headlight per end, two horns, one for town and one for country, new motor, DCC, sound, keep alive circuit and, of course, my road paint scheme and weathering. I suppose the Pacific Electrric trolley pole will have to replace and perhaps with two instead of one.
