Model Railroading > Fun With SP Commutes Using New GGD Subs At CMRS YesterdayDate: 09/02/26 07:57 Fun With SP Commutes Using New GGD Subs At CMRS Yesterday Author: FiveChime I grew up on the SP commute line in Burlingame, California and had been waiting for a reasonably priced
80' Harriman commute coach to come out for a long time. The new Golden Gate Depot cars look pretty good. They run well to. Grey perhaps a little light and don't like the silver lettering & missing "commute" in corner by door, but otherwise fine. Pictured are trains with these two toned grey cars with the variety of locomotives that pulled them. I also have GP40Ps and SDP45s, but subs had been painted solid grey by the time these units pulled them. Carquinez Model Railroad Society layout in Crockett, yesterday. What do you think of the windows on the new Harrimans?
