Also, the Pellitzers' have a reputation as marvelous hosts. C. PS--good to see you aboard the Lariat yesterday-------now speaking of marvelous hosts, Burt and Al set the standard!! :-) Carol Voss Bakersfield, CA Date: 04/13/08 15:52 Re: Virginia City Tuesday #11 Author: smitty195 Yes, Burt and Al along with Chris and Debbie from TUT sure put on a nice trip for everyone. That is definitely the only way to travel by train. We couldn't have asked for better weather, or running times.
Did the LA Times reporter say when the article would be published? Date: 04/13/08 16:15 Re: Virginia City Tuesday #11 Author: lodich vcrail Wrote:

------------------------------------------------------- >> > Did the LA Times reporter say when the article > would be published? He is a free lancer who is writing the article for the LA Times. It "might" appear in the travel section in the next month but it is an "evergreen" article, not tied to a particular event or time of the year so can show up anytime. I'm sure he'll let me know when he knows!! C. Carol Voss Bakersfield, CA Date: 04/13/08 21:15 Re: Virginia City Tuesday #11 Author: alvogel This is a fantastic offer.
