Passenger Trains > Tardy #3 and Amtrak cars on the M Barlac

Saw #3 go thru Barstow about 10:00 A.M today. Why so late? Weather related? I also saw the BNSF M Barlac with rear, mid train DP with Amtrak reefer cars behind it stopped at W Hobart. Kinda weird. Any explanation?

The Amtrak Reefers came into the LAJ. They are suppposed to go to Amtrak. A BNSF switch job should thake them up. Is Amtrak still running these? A post of the western board says that they are all stored. I thought the reefers were still in use.

All stored, They (ExpressTrak) have been out of service for a good year and a half now... Dunno the long term plans though.
