Passenger Trains > Who Operates Metrolink?Date: 09/13/08 17:06 Who Operates Metrolink? Author: StarlightHog Would someone please fill me in here. Does Metrolink have their own people, or do they contract out to Amtrak, Herzog or some other transportation company? Thanks.
Date: 09/13/08 17:12 Re: Who Operates Metrolink? Author: trainjunkie I asked the same question on page 3 of the big thread on the Western board:
http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?1,1758074,page=3 The reply was that trainmen are Veolia Transportation employees and engineers are CONEX employees. But the spokesperson for Metrolink said this engineer was a contractor from Veolia and was originally with Amtrak. Not sure about the CONEX thing. Maybe someone in-the-know can confirm.
