"C4" leads #4 (19)
Author: amtrak34east

Here is the photos as requested by TO member trainworm in this thread: http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?4,2639902 . trainworm is currently on board this train. BNSF 6621, an ES44C4, leads Amtrak train #4(originating December 19, 2011 in Los Angeles,CA) at MP 108 BNSF Gallup Sub (just west of Bluewater, NM) at 1150am 12/20/11. This unit was added at Gallup, NM, causing a big delay to this train. Over a foot of snow has fallen in this part of New Mexico since late Sunday night, and with the sun warming up the ground some, dense fog has covered the area at times. It wasn't so dense in this scene. A movie of this train will also be posted when time permits.

Looks like another storm ramping up tomorrow night into Friday. Another 4 inches plus expected over here in Milan, NM on top of the 15 inches we already have on the ground. The main roads and I-40 are bare and dry right now though. Good job road crews!

I am more and more glad every day this winter that I quit my OTR truck driving job.

looks like they decided to keep the pumpkin all the way to CHI
70MPH max and freight train speed on all restricted curves, right?

Speed limit is passenger train speeds, not to exceed maximum speed of that locomotive. Train is not restricted to freight speed on curves.
