Today's No. 14 At Kingsburg
Author: randymac

From the 18th Avenue overcrossing at the south end of Kingsburg, No. 14(6) sweeps around the curve following its Kings River crossing and onto the Union Pacific straightaway to Fresno and beyond at 4:45 p.m. today (the earliest Kingsburg passing yet for the current round of "Coast Starlight" detours). Second photo: A top-down view of No. 14 rolling through Kingsburg, just after crossing into Fresno County. The old station platform was empty this afternoon.

Great shots Randy.

Spent many hours on that overpass watching the Pixley Local.

Looking forward to the Kingsburg Depot being fully restored in the near future.

Thanks,
Daylight

Kingsburg is 20 miles southeast of Fresno, in the San Joaquin Valley and practically in the center of California. We are midway between L.A. and San Francisco, but inland. Hope this helps!
