Passenger Trains > 94 Trip Report

Am on train 94 today from Williamsburg to Wilmington. So far a much more pleasant experience than the trip down on 95 (see post on the 7th).

Train is on time. We've had very nice staff at the Williaburg station and onthese train in the Cafe car and the train conductor.

Passed the special train to Norfolk at Ashland. Interesting in that 94 did not stop but flagged on through.

Finishing the report, we arrived Wilmington on time.

So for the round trip - one very good ride and one so-so ride.

Glad you found the Williamsburg station staff good -- I always appreciated all of them when I lived in Williamsburg. Saw them go out of their way to help passengers, give accurate information, make coherent and helpful announcements, etc. Some of them have been there since the late 1990's, showing that continuity can be a good thing. One of my favorite stations for arriving/departing as well as train watching.
