10001 "Beech Grove" and 10021 "Pacific Cape" should be on 49 all the way to Chicago.

Rode in the "Beech Grove" once: Just a fancy Amfleet car with a back platform.

Is this the 49 which gave up a conductor to 64 on Tuesday?

I can't imagine the occupants of 10001 were happy about hearing the engine failed on 280, putting that train hours late. Sounds like something worth seeing up close, just like the passengers on 280.
