Passenger Trains > Northern Sky cars on Amtrak #6(13)Date: 06/15/13 09:37 Northern Sky cars on Amtrak #6(13) Author: Agent The eastbound California Zephyr heading to Chicago today has two private cars with it from Northern Sky Rail Charters. First is the sleeper-lounge Northern Dreams followed by the dome car Northern Sky. I guess this way the dome car's forward view isn't mostly blocked by the Superliner. As of this writing, Amtrak #6 last left Mount Pleasant, Iowa at 11:24 a.m., an hour and a half late.
