Passenger Trains > Glitch or CZ schedule change?

Checking arrival times at Glenwood Springs for #6, Amtrak's status report indicates a scheduled arrival time of 5:23 pm for each day starting last Saturday, rather the 1:53pm arrival time that has been scheduled for years. Does anyone know if this is something other than a glitch in their system?

California Zephyr Train 5: Schedule Change from Denver to Emeryville

Effective through September 1, 2014

Westbound California Zephyr Train 5 will operate according to a temporary schedule at all stations from Denver to Emeryville, due to critical railroad repairs being performed by Union Pacific Railroad.

This temporary schedule change will remain in effect through the train's arrival in Emeryville on September 1, 2014.

Thanks to both of you guys; for asking and for answering. My attention has been elsewhere (all good things) and I really haven't had the Zephyr in my sights for awhile now. One of my sons is getting married, and so I have another excuse to ride soon (a GREAT thing).

Hope everyone gets some great train watching in over the holiday weekend.

supposedly the planned service delay is due to track work being done near Oelwein, IA.

There's been so much rain out here, slow orders are everywhere on the BNSF line. Every time it rains here, slow orders pop up everywhere. Back in 2009, Iowa applied for a 400 million dollar grant to rebuild the line so the rain wouldn't de-stabilize it every year.

This change is accommodate Union Pacific work on the Moffat Line in Colorado.
