Today's Colors Are Yellow And Green
Author: walstib

An 18-car Union Pacific passenger train, having just emerged from Tunnel 5.5, rolls south toward King City on St. Patrick's Day.

The hills along Metz Road aren't as green as they were in January, but even in March they were far greener than last year.

I'm not sure, but whatever it is, it certinaly grew fast.

I was at this spot two weeks earlier for the inspection specia with the Sunset and Kenefick and that field was still brown.

In another reality, that would be a beautiful long distance train operated by the UP as part of a national rail passenger system.
So much more of a head turner than an Amtrak LD train.
