Passenger Trains > Trouble on Surfliner route today?Date: 06/12/16 07:46 Trouble on Surfliner route today? Author: ronald321 Noticed that all morning trains show "Sold Out" between LA and San Diego -- but Amtrak's Track-A-Train shows a "service Disruption"
Wondering if there was a derailment or something?? Date: 06/12/16 08:11 Re: Trouble on Surfliner route today? Author: SCAX3401 Amtrak #3, the westbound Southwest Chief detoured this morning via the Metrolink San Gabriel Sub. So there is either a derailment or other closure issue between Los Angeles and Fullerton or some planned trackwork. Since it wasn't announced earlier, its probably the first one.

Date: 06/12/16 17:23 Re: Trouble on Surfliner route today? Author: Mudrock The Gas Leak had 591 stay in Fullerton and used for Pacific Surfliner 562 to only run of the early morning , No 564 or 566 were run. Metrolink ran to Norwalk with a bus bridge from there to LAUPT and Amtrak ran to Fullerton evening using Track 4 there today. The Gas Link was still on as of 3:45 PM.
