Passenger Trains > Caltrans Charger TestingDate: 03/17/17 13:53 Caltrans Charger Testing Author: KM-ML4000 From a reliable source, Amtrak/Caltrans will conduct Charger over the road testing on the San Joaquin and Capitol corridors. Before you get all excited, the trains will mostly operate at night. First train is supposed to leave Oakland for Bakersfileld on Saturday evening, after 5 pm. Northbound trip will leave Bakersfield on Sunday, sometime after the crew is rested (10 am?). All other runns will be at night, and dates are still to be firmed up.
