The rear-end view from the Coast Starlight reveals golden sunlight for the train's crossing of the Carquinez Strait into Martinez on Wednesday morning.

Stunning.   I cross this bridge a lot, but have never had this view.

Could this be at the Lift Span?
Note the 'thickness at the 'fish-plate' there.

Yes this is the 100+ year old lift span across the Carquinez Straits.
