We stand ready to provide you with PRR coffee south of New York and New Haven coffee to the north, if Dunkin doesn't work out! Tim The Phoebe Snow Company Date: 04/19/17 06:11 Re: Dunkin' is Coming to Amtrak Author: joemvcnj Misery loves company.
Amtrak snack bars are constantly running out of items and I have been to free-standing Dunkin Donuts that ran out of donuts. Date: 04/19/17 06:32 Re: Dunkin' is Coming to Amtrak Author: steve4031 They ALWAYS run out on f coffee rolls by 3:00 pm in Chicago. Every store.

Date: 04/19/17 06:44 Re: Dunkin' is Coming to Amtrak Author: DavidJustinLynch Great idea. Now if Congress can pass some legislation to allow Amtrak to lease its diners and snack cars to private operators, we can quell Amtrak's critics who whine that Amtrak loses money on food service.

Strange bunch of millenials you know. The hip ones that work professional jobs would scoff at DD coffee, and instead seek out craft coffee from small chains or individual stores. I understand Amtrak partnering with Dunkin' for the money, but it used to sell and share promotions with products from smaller, locally sourced vendors such as yours. It would have been wonderful if Amtrak had partnered with you and/or another Northeast vendor for coffee to be served on Northeast trains. They used to partner with Green Mountain Coffee (which used to be a smaller company, before it became a huge international landfill-filler with Keurig K-cups), which provided coffee for Northeast trains and a few Eastern long-distance trains. There were New England products in the café cars. It seemed very nice and local, and provided a "touch" to the regional community. Of course, Dunkin' is a Boston company, so some people will say that that's the regional connection. Really, it's a big company with a lot of exposure and money, and I understand that, too. As for Amtrak, I'd much rather see Tim's New Haven blend on board. Good stuff. Date: 04/19/17 07:35 Re: Dunkin' is Coming to Amtrak Author: njmidland njfrn Wrote:

Good stuff. Well we created custom blends for the Everett Railroad and the Allentown & Auburn, so at least we have PA covered :) Tim Date: 04/19/17 08:18 Re: Dunkin' is Coming to Amtrak Author: BaltoJoey No Baltimore & Ohio coffee in the classic Royal Blue cups? :-(

Since this is a fairly small market, we decided not to create a competing product. Date: 04/19/17 10:33 Re: Dunkin' is Coming to Amtrak Author: GenePoon |
