That's probably the only sector on Dunkin' Doughnuts that is still going strong, it's sad how their doughnuts went down the tubes, my dad used to love their Maple Bars!

On another forum, one member said he doesn't drink Dunkin's coffee but loves their donuts!

I'd be careful of eating one on the train that has chocolate droppings....

Dear Wick,

We stand ready to provide you with PRR coffee south of New York and New Haven coffee to the north, if Dunkin doesn't work out!

Misery loves company.

Amtrak snack bars are constantly running out of items and I have been to free-standing Dunkin Donuts that ran out of donuts.

Very over-rated chain, yet the Millenials are addicted to it, at least in my office they are, acting like fine wine connoisseurs with coffee, but I think most impressed with their on-line app that has their bag waiting for them when they walk into the store, beneath them to wait 2 minutes, given they can't keep their paws off their I-phones for a solid minute.

Great idea. Now if Congress can pass some legislation to allow Amtrak to lease its diners and snack cars to private operators, we can quell Amtrak's critics who whine that Amtrak loses money on food service.

Strange bunch of millenials you know. The hip ones that work professional jobs would scoff at DD coffee, and instead seek out craft coffee from small chains or individual stores.

Tim, this is great. I understand Amtrak partnering with Dunkin' for the money, but it used to sell and share promotions with products from smaller, locally sourced vendors such as yours. It would have been wonderful if Amtrak had partnered with you and/or another Northeast vendor for coffee to be served on Northeast trains.

They used to partner with Green Mountain Coffee (which used to be a smaller company, before it became a huge international landfill-filler with Keurig K-cups), which provided coffee for Northeast trains and a few Eastern long-distance trains. There were New England products in the café cars. It seemed very nice and local, and provided a "touch" to the regional community.

Of course, Dunkin' is a Boston company, so some people will say that that's the regional connection. Really, it's a big company with a lot of exposure and money, and I understand that, too.

The millennials I know would only drink Dunkin coffee ironically, like PBR.

As for Amtrak, I'd much rather see Tim's New Haven blend on board. Good stuff.

Well we created custom blends for the Everett Railroad and the Allentown & Auburn, so at least we have PA covered :)

The B&O museum sells a B&O coffee (I don't know how accurate it is - we only do roasts that we can find historical records for).

Since this is a fairly small market, we decided not to create a competing product.
