It is warm and humid in the Philadelphia area, too. With no catenary power
for air conditioning and ventilation, the SEPTA coaches had to be getting pretty
miserable inside after that long.

Amtrak has been updating the power delivery system in NJ. They built an almost entirely new facility at Jersey Avenue, mp 34.
