Passenger Trains > Heritage / Viewliner car Updates

I know 8510 was doing a Shakedown run on the Crescent a few weeks ago . Any progress on any of the New Viewliners Diner cars ? I know 2 of them needed A/C work done . I believe because of 19/20 terminating out of D.C. There should only be Heritage diners on those trains witch should make 97/98 have them every day . When are the next new batches of Diner cars due out of CAF ?

The forums have been quiet lately, so not much to report. I would expect to see the next batch of diners within three weeks, based on past deliveries. I know they have been having A/C issues, namely they can't get the cars below about 78 degrees. I believe all five cars are staying on the Meteor at this time, until Hialeah works out the bugs.

Ill have to go over and look at what's on the Meteor. They had been running Annapolis, Indianapolis, and three Heritage diners in the rotation.
