ACS64 Number 627 and 601

Can anybody tell me if these two locos are being repaired or are done and returned to revenue service yet?

They have not yet been repaired. I don't have any inside knowledge, but I certainly wouldn't expect them back anytime soon.

I would expect that nothing will be done to either of them until after all of the litigation is finally done. Will take years.

Rumor is that once all litigation is done, 601 will return to service. 627's frame bent, it will be scrapped when that litigation is done.
