Union Pacific is sending E units across Nebraska to honor 150 years
of statehood August 4 August 6.

The route is unusual account schedule includes Gering, NE

According to that UP schedule they run Omaha to North Platte August 4th. North Platte to Egbert, up and around to Gering back to North Platte the 5th and then North Platte back to Omaha the 6th.
