Passenger Trains > Sounder Sunset MeetDate: 11/20/17 21:17 Sounder Sunset Meet Author: DelMonteX Got another break in the rain today in Tacoma.
1) Crews are hard at work taking down the scaffolding that covered the steel bridge over G street and the platform extension. 2) The second afternoon train arrives at the station on Main 2. 3) It appears the routine will be for the second and third trains to meet on the bridge. The second train is a flip, heading back to Seattle on main 2, while the third train continues south to Lakewood on main 1. The northbound leaves the station before the southbound arrives, creeping up to L street (or about the end of the bridge) and awaits the southbound's arrival. The northbound doesn't get very far, but... it leaves on time! Almost any of your posts would comprise a great 'Trains' article. I could say I miss the Northwest, but.....It is clear and sunny here, has been for days and likely will be for several more.
