The cars recently arrived at the railroad's Utica, NY yard. They made their first trip north to Thendara from Utica today, a 104 mile round-trip. This video catches the ex-NS coaches on their northward journey today. You must be a registered subscriber to watch videos. Join Today! When I toured the excursion train cars at the rear of the NKP 765 steam train in Chicago, two of the last four cars were NS heritage. IIRC these cars had subway style seating with hard plastic seats and no padding. Hope that the Adirondack Scenic isn't selling seats like this to it's passengers.
