Date: 12/06/17 17:34 Re: New MARC & SEPTA Power in Kansas Author: amanwtf MARC is not buying anymore electric motors because Amtrak is charging them out the ying yang for electricity plus the electrics are only captive to the Penn line whereas the diesels can run anywhere and the electrics are more costly to maintain. The 6 MARC Hippos include 1 stored serviceable, 2 are running and the other 3 are shopped for various reasons.
