Author: cozephyr

BNSF 7529, ES44DC, moved passenger special from Alliance, Nebraska, to Amarillo, Texas, departed Denver, CO, September 14, 2016.

Elitch Amusement Park now occupies former Colorado & Southern Railway yard-how times change!

2-Originally built as Car #901820 and named Regal Hunt, the car was renumbered by the Atchison, Topeka, and Santa Fe Railway to ATSF #64 on 5 December 1973. The car was purchased by the Santa Fe to run in its premier passenger train, the Super Chief. The car was later renumbered to BNA #64 by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway on 12 January 1996, and later renamed Marias Pass by the BNSF in July 1998. The car's accommodations include 10 individual bedrooms. It can be configured in a suite arrangement in which the car will be able to hold five couples and two individuals, or seven people. Suites A-B, G-H, and I-J have connecting doors, which are not contained in suites C, D, E, and F.

I took this shot in Topeka 40 years ago!
That first shot is cool with the other trains staggered, plus the bonus RTD train!
