Amtrak Wolverine 352(15) did something it hasn't done in a week!
Author: PC1974

After leaving Initial Terminal out of Tolerance, it MADE tolerance at final terminal Pontiac arriving 4 mins late.

You start to think the reports of the on-going winter storm in Chicago is backing off.. NOT SO FAST.

The evening Wolverine, 354(15) showed departing Chicago 43 mins late, but that's not quite true. It really left about 1 hr 30 some civilized minutes late... It's now running 3 hrs 3 civilized minutes late at Michigan City..

Gotta think that Michigan DOT has had a belly full of Amtrak's version of high speed this winter..

Let me guess. Was it the usual situation where the crew
reports a defect in or on the way to CUS? Then various
mechanical supervision pretend to look at the problem
until they get bored. Then the crew is told that the problem
will fix itself once the wheels begin to turn. Then as the
train goes under Roosevelt Rd. the alarm bells begin to ring.

After 40 years you would think they could dream up something new
to entertain us.
