Passenger Trains > Fog Shot, Amtrak 283, Rome, NY

I went out to dinner with my older brother tonight. Afterwards, he wanted to go for a ride, maybe see a train.

We went out to Reber Rd, Rome (NY), maybe a 10-mile drive. Got out of the car, walked up to the crossing at CSX CP 248. It was pretty foggy.

Within a minute, a headlight was spotted illuminating the fog bank.

No time to monkey with camera settings, unfortunately.

Regardless, here is Amtrak No. 283, 19 minutes past sunset tonight (17:58), Rome, NY, CP 248.
