Passenger Trains > Unusual San Joaquin operation at MercedDate: 04/23/18 16:48 Unusual San Joaquin operation at Merced Author: Winnemucca I am riding San Joaquin #717 today. At Merced we stopped and waited for southbound #714 which seems to have been a few minutes late. As we left Merced there was a third San Joaquin trainset backing into a spur off the siding. This movement did not match up with anything in the timetable. Anyone know what’s up?

I belive the Flagstaff AZ PTC trian time was 1102 AM Mountain time. So that trian is NOT a possibility. ----Daniel Date: 04/23/18 19:45 Re: Unusual San Joaquin operation at Merced Author: mundo Well, they just might have two or more PTC Test trains.
