The WW II memorial @ Bedford worth your time and respect those from Bedford who died on D Day at Normandy. No other town in the US lost as high a percentage of serviceman during WW II. Makes all the angst about Amtrak seem rather insignificant. A stop in Bedford is definitively in our plans.
