The planning phase in any built-up area takes a long time. The LA Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension from Glendora to Claremont is expected to see the main contract awarded in Oct. 2018, but it will be well into 2020 before we see any rearrangement of the terra firma. Paper and pixels are cheaper than steel and concrete.
