Speaking of #3 tonight in New Mexico (July 15), I wonder why it would take 2 hours to go from Lamy to ABQ, a distance of about 75 miles methinks.  Puts the train over 4 hours late now.  No freight or Rail Runner interference to deal with.  Anyone know?

Been watching this train too, as I'm heading out on 4(16) from LA tomorrow. The monsoonal weather out there has been really active today. Saw some red and violet cells on radar south of ABQ earlier, and wondered if they were holding 3 at Albuquerque while tracks were checked ahead. Here is what Flagstaff looked like today. Rapids on Main Street. Have to wonder if slow orders along the way to LA are going to pop up from these storms.

Oh, that is a great photo of the SWC splitting the semaphores!!  And both have their finials!
