Passenger Trains > Genesis - Elephant styleDate: 10/10/18 15:22 Genesis - Elephant style Author: amtrakin Noticing more and more Amtrak LD trains going Elephant Style. Is this the new norm? Is there an advantage to this?

I also recall years ago, an F40PH on the Zephyr was running reversed, snow and ice built up under the snowplow and locomotive lifted off the rails and the train derailed.
