NY subway's other "museum trains" Sunday

As MTA ran the Transit Museum's "Arnines" on Sunday (see https://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?4,4681669), some of the 1964 vintage Budd Company R-32 fleet are still running every day.  These are two consecutive southbound C trains at 125th Street yesterday.

When delivered in 1964 they were called "Brightliners" because they were the first stainless steel fleet.

From what I've read, these are the best designed, best running cars NYC Transit ever bought, and obviously their long service proves it. The riders loved the big windows. And the stainless steel also helped kill the graffiti morons' visual garbage.
Too bad we moved  off Staten Island before they started running.

LOVE those Budd Subway cars! Budd and railroading went together like peanut butter and jelly. Oh what we have lost. Keep on rolling with Budd VIA!
