Passenger Trains > Martinsburg,Wv Amtrak Boarding ????

Ive Noticed about every day that just West of Shen Jct that Amtrak 30 switches from track 1 to track 2,Is this because they board on track 1 @ Martinsburg,Wv ???

I think there's a duckboard or something there, but the Martinsburg station only has a single platform.

MARC uses the platform off the lead from the layover yard to board pax. Amtrak boards pax on Track 2 (south track). I don't think there's any platform access to Track 1, but it's been several years since I've been to Martinsburg. (Confirmed by Street View from June 2018). There is a relatively new pedestrian bridge over the tracks, but it serves only the roundhouse complex. Track one is completely fenced off from the roundhouse complex.
