Passenger Trains > Cuomo, Trump, and the Tunnels

WNYC discusses the meeting between NY Governor Andrew Cuomo and President Donald Trump. The outline of this meeting was discussed in the Cut Out Amtrak thread. They may be a little closer to a tunnel.

This article adds a few details. A new authority to oversee the construction and development around the tunnel would be under Cuomo's control. The Gov loves special purpose agencies, and some of his friends have positions in the deal. The POTUS likes the idea of a cut through the red tape authority.

The Gov also has a squeeze on the POTUS, Don Jr, Jared, Ivanka, and Eric for fraud in the Trump foundation. There are document requests, tax filings etc.

Violations of state law are not subject to federal pardon authority. But violations of state law can disqualify people from participating in federal loan guarantee programs like low income housing.

He didn't write "only", you just see it. Although Trump has plenty of 'em. Corruption and unions- well known.

That is my point exactly.  How come only Union buddies are named?  Biased fake news anyone?
