Fewer coaches are needed, making these cars available. WPE would like to operate over holidays but Amtrak could not provide equipment until after. Ski train has only 6 cars that are coaches. Weren't there 7 in prior years ? Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 01/03/19 11:28 by joemvcnj. This year though they exchanged a coach for a sightseer lounge so they could sell alcoholic beverages on the way back. The lounge car with food/beverage sales was the most requested item on passenger surveys in the last two years of the train running.
