Travel Canada on a stack train?
Author: Ray_Murphy

I'm posting this into the general passenger board because this was a sidebar ad I lifted from a US website today - Canadian scenery and a CP intermodal train. I don't know what the "Travel Canada" thing is but I think they chose the wrong train!

Lots of idiots in marketing and media. Same thing happens in movies all the time. They leave the station an Amtrak Superliner, and arrive into Pacific Central Station Vancouver (which is suppose to be LA) on VIA equipment.

It is a lottery for Canadians ... To enter you must certify that "I am 18 years of age or older and I am currently in the province of Ontario"

"..see Canada like few ever get the chance to: by train. You and your family can take a luxurious sleeper train across some of Canada’s most iconic scenery. From the smooth prairies to the dramatic Canadian Rockies, you’ll see some of the best that Canada has to offer. You’ll return home with even more love for our home and native land."

Perhaps you'll see stack trains if you win the trip?

No, not all the time.  Maybe you should watch different movies.

You could make a pretty nice room out of a 20 foot marine container!

Passengers used to be able to book travel on ocean traveling freighters so why not stack trains?! LOL

(Don't know if the former is still possible in today's legal environment - anyone know?)

OT: You can still book travel on freighters and container ships. Most have a few cabins for paying "guests". But it's very, very basic
