Metra Milwaukee Road heritage ran first trip to Grayslake -
1) Outbound to Grayslake at Rondout crossing the CN("J") where it diverges from Milwaukee mainline to Fox Lake comuter Line.
2) Shoving eastbound to Union Station at CP Morgan 1.5 miles out about 40 minutes after sunset.

3) Outbound to Fox Lake.

It then made an outbound run I think to Fox Lake, I have photo but needs work as light was a problem.

CP Morgan is still a great place to shoot even with new signals since they kept the indestructible PRR signal bridge. Nice work. BSB

Nice coverage, Bob! My friend & fellow Santa Fe employee, the late Mark Simonson grew up in Madison, WI and LOVED the MILW! He & I went on a few night time photo-excursions together back in our KS Gang 80s. I suspect he would have been just a WEE bit excited over this "return"... ;^)
